Yesterday was my third day working at my new job. And I got a raise. Yeah, a raise on the third day. It takes me all year at the bookstore to get a raise and it's generally not much. Too bad this new job's just a temporary thing.
I'm doing office work for a place that sells textbooks over the internet and ships them from a warehouse in Columbus. School starts in a month so they hire in extra people for the busy season. I'm hoping when this ends to be able to go back when they need me. It's a pretty cool job so far and the people are really nice.
I'm glad to hear you're getting some extra hours in. I'll have to come down to Columbus soon to catch up and check out your new place. Though I'm pretty sure I'll be moving down there myself around January.
I'm actually going to graduate :) One more semester and I'm done. Then, if I stay in Ohio, I'll more than likely end up in Columbus. Though I do have a tentative job offer for a temporary job on campus working for the library in the department I work for now as a staff member while another leaves for maternity. But, will only take that if I have nothing else.
