Yeah, I haven't posted in 2 weeks. A.P. Gov't has taken over my life! I'm really enjoying the class, but it is overwhelming. Our groups issues with each other are starting to appear at the worst moments. Today we did horribly with the follow up questions and essays. I am so nervous as to how we will do at state!

I've been so busy w/ A.P. Gov't. that I haven't had a chance to post. The weekend was quite frantic. I worked on Saturday and Sunday, babysat, and met w/ my Gov't. group. Wow, I've been quite busy with A.P. Gov't. that I haven't posted recently! My weekend was busy with work, babysitting and gov. On Monday and Tuesday we had a government meeting. Today was a good day! In first we prepared for our micro test (which is tomorrow), and checked our bread for mold (none yet!). In second, we finished watching Finding Nemo (cute), and we started oil pastels. Then 3rd we presented our Federalism project. Yesterday I worked at OS Hospital from 7a.m to 1 p.m. After work I went to the gym and out to eat at McAllister's. This morning I got up and went to work again from 7 to 1. (those hospital gowns do not cover nearly enough!) I really missed going to church, and I hardly ever miss church unless I am on vacation. I'm so glad that we have Monday off. I ( Read more... )

Today is Friday! In first block we did microscope packets and watched a disease video b/c Mrs. Hayes was absent. After first all the seniors we went to a Making College Count seminar. Today was an okay day. In micro I worked on my report and checked my bread.(no mold yet)Then while the underclassmen were agonizing over what classes to take next year we had a senior assembly where we had a deep discussion on the meaning of life- not really, instead we recieved free Krispy Kreme Donuts!(an exciting perk to being a senior). Today was a better day than yesterday. In Micro I have started to grow mold, in Art II we did blind and modified contour drawings, (mine was hung on the board!), in A.P. My presentation didn't go very well today in A.P. Gov't. I practiced last night, and when I practiced I gave my speech in 9 min. and 40 sec. w/o saying any umms. Today I talked really fast and I presented in 8 minutes and said 64 umms.
