Includes selective coloring, color balance
made with PS C2

1. Resize/crop/sharpen your base

2. Duplicate the base, set to screen around %50. Experiment with different opacities depending on your picture.
2. Selective Colors:
Red: -100, +13, +12, +20
Yellow: -100, -100, -100, 0
Cyan: +100, 0, -100, 0
Neutral: +40, -2, -10, -2
Black: +30, 0, 0, +40
4. Color Balance:
Midtones: -9, -12, +10
Shadows: +13, +10, +12
Highlights: -6, -2, -9
5. Duplicate the color balance layer, set to %60 (this depends on how light the picture is; darker pictures may need a lower opacity, or might look alright without this layer at all)

6. Add any textures/brushes/text. I would recommend a grayish texture, as it dulls the colors in case the icon comes out bright. I used this:
(sorry, I'm not sure who made it, please tell me if its yours)
