Not to be a bitch, but I think it is Hi-larious that Raleighians are super excited about winning the Stanley cups. Our team consists of carpet baggers and foreigners. How many Southerns do you know who play hockey? Honestly. The oilers had something to cheer about. It's concieveable that they would have a hockey team. But I digress.

All teams are made up of foreigners. :p I'm more excited for the future of hockey in the South - not that Southerners won the game. Because, obviously, they didn't. But that it's a sport that's growing here and has some credibility now.

Hey, sweetcheeks - I got offered a job in childcare, which is a good opportunity for me to start working with kids. Between that, my summer school, and catering I really wouldn't be able to offer Eckerd enough time to make me worth hiring. :( Plus, I wouldn't be able to continue at Eckerd once fall semester started up with student teaching. I called Searcy and let him know, but I also wanted to give you the heads up. Thank you so much for thinking of me, though, and giving me the opportunity. The main thing I'm bummed about is that this won't give us a chance to see each other more. So! I hoped maybe we could get together sometime soon? Movie, food, chillin' at my place.. whatev. Lemme know what you're up for and when!
