May has been a good month for me. I have not binged. I feel very week today. I think I will eat raw foods today.  I talked to a nutritional today (my friend not a therapist or anything) and she gave me some really good tips. I found out that my resting metabolic rate was 1800. She said once I start eating normal 3 meals a day with snacks it will go ( Read more... )

That is a very healthy and reasonable plan. Also excellent nutritional picks. Although not sure on the cheese stick, I think she included it for the fat (to control cravings and keep energy up) but most of the fat is saturated maybe pick skim mozzarella or some laughing cow brand cheese wedges, they will give you the protein/fat energy and satiety she was probably thinking of and less saturated fat. That plan will definitely give you all the nutrition and energy you need. and keep your hunger in check. She's right also about eating the same things, whenever I've done that I've definitely lost weight. You just have to make sure what you're eating is nutritive and that you're not missing a key vitamin, in your case it looks fine. When your BMI is normal you can reduce some of the calories if you want to lose more. good luck and I'm sure you won't feel the urge to binge on this plan! p.s. if you crave different flavors try putting lemon or different spices on the salad, or add cranberries or seeds. Or change the flavor of the pasta sauce ( ... )

I like to use balsamic vinegar, it tastes like italian dressing but has 0 cals! Apple cider vinegar ups metabolism but isn't as yummy. Lemon juice and ground pepper is good too, very low cal and flavorful. Sometimes I even put hot sauce also 0 cal.

I like that you haven't totally excluded any of the usual groups that get ruled out when it comes to diets (carbs, fat and dairy) - this will actually work to your advantage, as banning whole food families will naturally make you desire them more. It's all very well losing dozens of pounds water-fasting, but this is a sensible long-term solution to keep the weight off, but your hair in its roots and your muscle nice and toned. I'll take a bit of calcium-rich dairy in moderation over "anorexic" bone loss any day, thank you. Big thumbs up to that!
