So I am reading this book that Warren gave me for my birthday (for those who don't already know, I found myself in one of those crazy crazy things called a relationship).
It is called 'Endgame: Volume II Resistance' by Derrick Jensen.
This booked is a compilation of twenty premises.

But I digress,
I guess what I was trying to get at, was what are you the people that I know trying to do to limit the amount of bullying that we are receiving from our so called government?
What are you doing to lesson the power of the economy?

Me, I ignore the government where I can, sidestep it where I may and ensure that I am focused on what is needed, necessary, required... NOT what the 'powers that be' communicate. But I've always been that way no matter the group, really.
I don't buy into 'normal' and 'regular' and all those other social constructs. But in doing so I try to create a positive impact world around me.
Economy... harder, as money is necessary to live... but I also work in barter, I try to work the economy and government to feedback into each the other, and I'm not materialistic. Nor do I buy into trends.
I'd like to think that what I do has an effect. But I also realize it would take millions doing such before that effect was noted, felt, seen. But in communicating it... perhaps others do learn and carry forward...

They don't get the fact that they are being lied to.
For example and this one is a biggie
The Kyoto Agreement.
We said we would meet certain targets to lower emissions that lead to the global warming effect, we then have big business going on and on about it is BAD for the ECONOMY to stop polluting.
What is bad for the economy is NOT reducing pollution. By depleting our resources we are lessoning our chances for survival.
Monsanto, Haliburton, and Exxon/Mobile and various other companies have it so that their rights to exist are taken over human and animal rights.
Food and shelter are necessaries, and we should not be taxed for them. We should not have to purchase a very expensive lease from the bank to hold onto a 'property' so that our government can pay back their debt to the world bank.
I could go on and on about this.

Actually the current gov just pisses me off.
Oh well, least our Net Debt will be paid off by 2021, and Quebec is a Nation within a nation! Yup...
