Side note, early reviews of The Last Airbender paint pictures of a far more macabre desecration of the franchise than I had originally thought possible. I'm still curious, but just wont let it taint my love of the source.

Wow. Ebert SKEWERED the movie and gave it a half star rating. I knew not to be excited, but jeez. From all accounts, the 3D isn't worth it and the acting's going to be awful :(.
