"What in truth is the thing, so far as it is a thing? When we inquire in this way, our aim is to come to know the thing-being (thingness) of the thing. The point is to discover the thinglyy character of the thing."

I managed to find all those e-mails we sent back and forth, two summers ago after Dharma Camp! Hahahaha. I read one of them (it was the one where you had all sorts of rent quotes.) I was singing along with all of them. It was quite amusing. I loved reading what you had to say. I think next time that im bored, i'll know exactly what i'll do. I especially liked the story about your friend lizzie being asked by a waiter to light her candle. I really wished i had listened to rent back then. You were right all along! I realized how much i've changed in two summers. It's really quite amazing. And i remembered most of the thoughts that went through my head while writing and reading those e-mails. Im glad i kept them. (the e-mails, not the thoughts) What great fun we had indeed. see you soon i hope!

I was thinking about those emails the other day. good times. I should go read them again sometime. do you have the same email address? or hey, are you one of the those people who enjoy having random phone conversations? I don't get online often enough anymore. do you have my cell number? do I have yours? I don't think so. what a rambling comment. my cell is 503-453-9685. word.
