So everyone found out yesterday.  John Beaubrun passed away yesterday afternoon.  He had been battling cancer for the last seven years or so.

The world has lost another great person.  He was techinically my boss, and everyone's boss here in DoIT.  None of us really saw him that way. I think in the three and half years ive been here, i've only had

I love you and I'm so sorry you have to go through this once again.
It's so hard to lose anyone, especially to cancer.

I deal with it by being heavily involved in Relay for Life - makes me feel like I can help prevent someone else from feeling this way.

everytime this happens, i feel worse and racked with guilt... being a smoker and all. maybe it really is time to stop?

absolutely. I wish my parents would get the picture. Just imagine what it would do to the people who love you to lose yet another wonderful person to cancer.

i havent. i know how things can get out of hand, especially when times get hard. but you know me, i dont usually hold a grudge against anyone. so yeah, we're still friends, and i'll always be here for you. :)
