Blood and Chocolate will not be showing at the theater here. I am so freakin' pissed! I mean, I know it won't be anything like the book, and therefore not nearly as amazing. But if you ignore the fact it's butchered the novel, it should be pretty good. Afterall, Underworld was pretty awesome

The previews make it seem like she goes on the run with Aidan, not like she goes on the hunt for him. If I get the time, I'll probably go all the way to Rochester just to see it, though.

I'm hearing rumors that Sara might die, which I really hope isn't the case. I'm not always thrilled with her, but the romantic in me needs for her and Michael to be together in the end.
Also, Kellerman? Is officially made of awesome. I can't wait to see them have to work together.

Kellerman is really a Magnificent Bastard. (tm Sobell)

Oh, apparently it's going to be set in Europe and Gabriel is Vivian's Uncle....I know....craziness.
Also, the author of Dresden Files has his own LJ, I just can't remember his name. There's this crazy promotional livejournal as well for Blood and Chocolate, again, I can't remember the name for it. Something darkest secrets or something. Anyway, it has more info about the movie and a lot of people complaining about the slaughtering of the book.

Okay, I knew they were putting it in Europe and aging Vivian, even cutting out Esme (one of my favorite characters), but making vivian and Gabriel related? WTF? The movie is going to suck so badly now, no matter what.

Thanks for the tip; I'll run a search for it, just to see how else they've ruined it.

I'm going to be taking Women in Literature, Early Western history, American history pre-Civil War, and Psychology this semester. I go in to register, minding my own business, and as soon as I start talking to one of the people doing the registering, he decides that I *must* take their honors English class and I am then shuffled from person to person until I end up signed up for their precious Women in Lit. course. It was amusing how they treated the other courses as an afterthought.

History and literature courses, huh? And a psych class? Sounds awfully like someone else's schedule...
When do your classes start?

Classes start Monday the 29th, except the European history one which doesn't start until Feb 13th for some reason.
