I love the city. I walked to the boston public library today even though its 2 miles away because I needed books for my research paper. The city has this particular atmosphere on the weekdays during the say that is different than on the weekends and than at night. I found it quite comforting, and small little things kept me smiling. Something unexpected happened and I had no idea how to respond. So my room is arranged so that when I sit at my desk and have my door open, I can see who walks by from the reflection of my window. Bah. It has been really hard getting back into the gist of things. I want to return to a tropical paradise, not have to worry about work, and having fun all the time. The Galapagos was amazing. It was a nice vacation from school, although that made it really hard to get back into the work mode.
