Man, I love this and your previous WO story! So much fun to read while we're actually watching the Olympics...
Is everyone one of our team going to win a medal? I hope Emily does - I *love* biathlon even if I am American!

I'm so glad you liked the story! And having the Olympics on all the time is definitely a good inspiration.

As for all the team getting medals?

She had posted a personal best in the 10-kilometer pursuit, and while it hadn’t been enough to medal, even her mother would be satisfied with being the fifth best in the world.

Emily came in fifth, but it was a personal best! So she's very happy with her standing.

Now that Lysacek won the gold, do you wish Spencer had too? LOL.

My favorite part was how you worked the actual plotlines of CM into this. It's actually kinda scary how well CM works as a figure skating story...

Nah, Spencer was based on a mixture of Weir (sparkly onesies quote) and Lysacek (height, intensity) so getting a silver is still pretty awesome. Sort of splitting the difference between the two (WEIRD WAS SO UNDERSCORED IT'S ALMOST CRIMINAL)

CM works as crack in so many ways, it's scary.

WHERE'S MY SKI JUMPER!REID FIC? I WANTS IT SO MUCH!

Getting right on that... problem is I had a Yenta!Abrams breakthrough, so I wrote the entire party scene in that (so ridiculous, SO SO cracky) and didn't work on skijumper!Reid much. Also, had to fight the urge to make the entire CM team a curling team instead. LOVE CURLING WAY TOO MUCH FOR WORDS.

Do you promise to rec the heck out of it so I get at least one or two comments?

Ok, Yenta!Abrams breakthrough is a perfectly acceptable reason for delay. Also? I'd totally read a curling!CM fic. Would you be writing a men's (Rossi, Hotch, Morgan, and Reid) and women's (JJ, Prentiss, Garcia, Todd) team fic or would there be one team with coaches and support staff?

I promise to rec the hell out of whatever you write. As an fyi, if you also post it on bau_fic, you'll probably get some interest that way ;)

(technically, you could post it on criminalxminds as well, but I never do... probably should, but I get annoyed at double/triple posting when I see it so I don't want to be a hypocrite)

Yeah, Gideon's mental breakdown was really really inconveniently timed :( But Spencer's a badass and pulled through. Plus Garcia is awesome sauce so that helped.

I love it. I know this is late, but... I love it. They're all very them despite having different lives. I take it that anger at Gideon for leaving fueled the passion of his skate? Nicely paralell!
