"shelby," i told myself today with resolve, "you are going to go through your t-shirt drawer and throw stuff out." it's really quite ridiculous to have a huge drawer full of boxers and t-shirts. you only have one body. so i stood over my dresser looking for things to get rid of ( Read more... )

::whipes forehead:: Thank heavens I'm not the only person who stashes t-shirts for sentimental value! If I ever feel like wearing my poorly illustrated Project Grad 1995 shirt, I can have my hands on it in under two minutes. Jones for Hard Rock Cafe shirts from back when they were at least quasi-cool? You want Paradise Island, Orlando, Paris, or London? I have them all. Can't live without a global peace t-shirt, circa 1992, that's been dyed pink by a thousand washings and nearly ripped to shreds by the icky dryers at sleep away camp? Bottom drawer, left-hand side.

It's an vicious cycle, Shelby. Once you realize that you would have been the coolest person in the world if you had only held that Bon Jovi shirt from the Slippery When Wet tour in '89, it's all downhill. Let me tell you.

i have SO MANY FUCKING SHIRTS. lol even my sister told me once when she was home and looking for clothes to borrow, "god you have a lot of shirts." and i have like, ONE pair of decent jeans. lol i dunno i just cannot throw anything away. and the tshirt drawer, of the tshirts i sleep in? it's ridiculous. it's a huge freaking drawer and it hardly closes. there are so many freaking shirts in there and i can't throw any of them.

this is in the wrong post, but about those miners.. holy god, yeah. i couldn't believe they got them out. the history of this state, and coal mining.. scares the CRAP out of me. seriously. whenever i think of coal i think of a hundred years ago when a good job was being stuck underground never seeing the light of day for thirteen hours a day with the risk of being crushed at any minute always present. i forget there are people still doing it today right now 2002. and it's such a dirty fuel, anyway. we should just get the fuck rid of it.

have fun at jewel dude!!!! love ya.
