I'm so overwhelmed by the thought of getting everything onto the AO3 but it's such a good idea, and so useful for both yourself and the fandom. Update us on your progress periodically, as a good role model?
Even by our standards it's hot. The breezes picked up in the middle of the day, and I was initially like YAY, but it was like being blown on by a hair dryer. And meanwhile I'm seeing pictures of shoulder high snow, and friends in Canada with -20C temps. It's all extreme.
Getting stories in is not too hard, it turns out. You can do it blindingly fast if you don't want to micro-edit everything, but of course I want to micro-edit everything which is the slow part. BUT once they're in, you get comments and kudos from new readers - that is the real lure.
I am looking to the more fannish interaction part especially! I, too, am not on as much as I'd like. I still remember your why women don't negotiate recs: any more news from the women and career sphere??
