Sydney visit!

So I'll be in Sydney for the week from Easter Monday and Leura on the following weekend, with astolat and kaneko. I'm not sure if there's any specific fannish planned activity yet, but if you're interested in catching up and haven't already commented on astolat's post, drop one over there, or here, or whatever

dude, I've always thought you had excellent taste in fannish obsessions.

Leverage is ridiculous amounts of fun, and brown_betty's stories have become my OT3 for the fandom.

Kings is all sorts of promising - drama, soap opera, pretty people plotting and biblical shoutouts. I'm enthralled with it.

Generation Kill is *totally* worth succumbing to! lots and lots and lots of wonderful (disturbing) stuff, with great (and pretty) characters. boys! guns! profanity! what more could a fan want?

Kings I worry if it will be too much - it's beautifully shot, wonderfully written, brilliantly acted, inventive, plotty... so rich that it's kind of like chocolate mudcake for TV, and I fear that it will be difficult to eat the whole cake. *g*

Leverage just hits all my happy notes including the OT3 one. *g*
