For in_the_blue 's Valentine's Day Writing Challenge. Main theme: What's love got to do with it?
So, I have been thinking about this idea for kind of a while, and I even bounced some thoughts and lines off hfleming8 but still never did anything. Now I have, and in exactly 100 words. ;)

She wasn't going to be hoisted upon her classmates' shoulders for making the winning save. She probably wasn't going to get her name on a shield or plaque in the trophy room for service to the school. She wasn't going to receive an Order of Merlin, First Class, or even economy class.
But she was a Gryffindor, and she never backed down from a challenge or betrayed her own sense of right and wrong.
She never took what didn't belong to her, but if another girl might like a boy and was too timid to act... well, all's fair, right?
