On January 4, 1961 Erwin Schrödinger died. Yes, that Schrödinger. 1933 Nobel Laureate, famous for his achievements in quantum physics and his 1944 book What is life? which inspired the discovery of the double helix structure of DNA. And of course, famous for Schrödinger cat.
