I'm SO sorry we missed it. We really enjoy the Christmas party every year, but this weekend was a huge disaster for us and... there's more to talk about another time... but the point is we truly couldn't be there this year even though we very much wanted to.

Also, we really sympathize with the party letdown thing. It took us a couple of Halloween parties on that scale where only a handful of people showed up to realize that it wasn't going to happen like that anymore. Very sucky feeling. :-/

Oh no worries at all Mark. We were so sorry to hear that you all had a rough day Saturday. There was lots of love being passed around for you, Sara, and Zoe on Saturday. Hope you all felt it.

We really appreciate that.

To be honest, I'm more scared now than I ever have been. I can't think straight at all. I'm scared out of my mind. There is no good explanation for her being almost 6 months old and missing every single milestone. I keep coming back to autism (don't get me wrong - I want that to NOT be right more than anything) and it just frightens/saddens me so much to realize that's suddenly a very real possibility.

Awww. That is so terrifying. Keep Amy S in mind if you continue to suspect autism. She has loads of experience working with autistic kids, and I *think* with babies, too. I believe part of her job is assessing the motor skills and behaviors of her clients and giving her opinions/conclusions to doctors for their consideration of a formal diagnosis.
