I have that many Marriott points from traveling to Richmond. Sad, huh? At least I'm getting something out of it.

I went to Kyoto for 2 days after my high school reunion (near Tokyo), and really enjoyed it. It's a beautiful city, and some of my classmates and I did a tour that involved a tea ceremony in the geisha district. What time of year are you going to be there?

Hey there!

We've decided to hold off on southern Honshu until Joshua is around 8 so that we can do Hiroshima as well. Really want to do Kyoto but there are so many amazing things around Tokyo. Our current plans for the trip look like Tokyo for 6 days, Hakone 3 days, Nikko 1 day. We may also do a day trip to Kamakura.
