Damn Late Night

Last night my company put me up at the Ritz. I was on a project that won an internally significant award so we had a reception/dinner at Maestro. Was very bittersweet to be there but at least I got to see Vincent so I had lovely wine. Hopefully they will find a new chef soon

Those comments certainly aren't appropriate at a work party. Where was your man? Can't he be imposing? You need a signal. Or at least, to have kneed this guy in the groin on the way past.

Now, in a not-work context, I think that conversation would be quite different, don't you, m'lady?

Todd wasn't invited, unfortunately- it was only company employees. The guy at least didn't touch me- one of my co-workers had her leg fondled (at least it was just the leg).

Not in work, it would definitely be a different conversation and different outcome (as long it wasn't a 50 something balding man). And I'd probably be wearing less clothing!

I second the comments about standing in the corner. Yah. not for a work environment. (although I believe the comments are entirely true!)
