Sympthetic teeth grinding for you.

You have my admiration for being a responsible adult. Doesn't it just suck sometimes?

It does suck sometimes. But I got to witness what happens to people who aren't good when it comes to listening to the body and I really, really don't want to have to go to the dr!

Hugs!

Are you sore in your shins? or just the muscles of the leg?

If it's just muscle soreness, sometimes getting out there and going very easy makes things feel better for me.

I strained the vastus medialis within my quads on my right leg. Taking it easy for a few days and it is getting better- I can almost bend my knee the whole way today.

ok that doesn't sound like something that you should be going out and attempting to exercise through.

Sorry about you missing curling. I didn't know you could curl anywhere in the around where you live. I assume it's a special event at some local ice rink. Is it a weekly thing? If so next year you can take some of us curling and laugh at our ineptitude ::grin::
I guess you could do it sooner, but then I wouldn't be able to come. I can promise I can make it worth waiting, while I CAN skate, it's amusing to watch ;P

Randomly, one of my Marines is kind of in the same boat. He has a bad ankle sprain right now. Happened right after testing for gray belt, so he won't be able to stay in the class and get green with the rest of them*. So he's hobbling round on crutches being discontent. I hope you both get better soon and can return to your normal activites.

Hugs
Steve

*I question the efficacy of MCMAP (Marine Corps Martial Arts Program), wouldn't be bad if people actually did the sustainment. W/O it I don't think it accomplishes all that much, is just another training check in the box.

There is place in Laurel where you can go curling- they have a curling rink and I think you may be able to go year round. There are people who do it professionally and all who are there and make it look so damned easy.

In happy news, I am better! I'm actually back to normal activities- listening to the advice of no heels and elevation at work helped a lot. Though it did get some interesting looks when people came into my cube this week!

that sounds Infinitely Fucking Annoying. *hug* you get a gold star for sucking it up and doing the right thing, especially since the wrong thing would be so much more fun...
