soccer is totally rad.
so when my mom was little she said she saw an apparition of Fatima. it was her and her brother and she said it was beautiful seeing her up in the sky. speaking of which, i don't really know the story of fatima but did she appear to children as well?

all the cool kids go to world cup soccer matches. soccer fans at those are amazing. i'll never forget brazil scoring a fifth goal against mexico. i got punched in the back of the head "by accident" by this fat shirtless painted mexican guy... it was incredible.

hey julie, pop quiz, what is the portuguese word that fado is derived from?

yeah, our lady of fatima appeared to three little kids, one of them (Lucia) lived until this year and died just shortly before the pope. She was a cloister nun in coimbra.

What word is fado derived from? I know fado is a portuguese word that means fate but I don't know if that's what you mean. How cool that you know about fado.

yeah, apparently someone did a presentation on it and... i must have been somewhere... somewhere important... anyway, i already knew most of the stuff, but one of the answers we're supposed to know is what portuguese word is fado derived from/related to/ something like that. what is the origin. i don't know, the question didn't make a whole lot of sense to me either.

i totally bought an amalia rodrigues album for extra credit. too bad i don't understand a lick of your fancy language. 10 dollars for "1 point" it had better be the weightiest point of all time.
