I find your anti-lawyer sentiment disheartening. It's an unfounded generalization, as not all lawyers specialize in bogus malpractice suits. Lawyers protect people's rights and property. They are fine upstanding citizens, and a necessary pillar of democracy. They act as the voices for unborn fetuses who are unable to represent themselves in court, and they formulate sweeping lawsuits against huge companies when there are large sums of money to be made. Lawyers make America safer, faster, better, and stronger. Perhaps you hate America. I, for one, love America, and unborn fetuses... mmm.

Perhaps you've never read the rubric for the Bar exam.

It is of course, a three day exam, with the following materials covered:

Day 1:
Multistate Essay Examination (MEE). A three-hour, six-question essay test. It covers 2L (second year) and 3L topics, such as corporations, family law, sales, and secured transactions, to name a few.

Day 2:
Multistate Bar Examination (MBE). A six-hour, 200-question multiple-choice test that focuses on core legal subjects, such as contracts, property, and torts, among others.

Day 3:
Beating up old ladies; stealing candy from babies; optional lighting minorities on fire.

Surely I enjoy the occasional bit of humor as much as the next guy, but you're pushing it a little far with that one. Come now, family law? How do you expect me to believe that? What exactly does it entail? Dad telling the youngsters not to steal cookies from the jar, perhaps? Having to walk the dog in order to receive... surprises? Thomas, don't be ridiculous.
