I have to say, the 3 times I've voted in this area have been entirely -impressively- painless.. my cynicler side snarks that it's probably because so few people vote...

hang on for the gym. it's worth it.. I think.. being stronger and able to do more is worth it.. right?... :(

I had the same thought about voter turnout... there *should* be line ups :(

I was sore from that workout until Friday, which sucks for encouragement... we were just using our trial guest pass that time so we're going this week to actually get our membership. I really hope it gets better!

well, speaking as one who didn't work out for a few years and then started doing 45minutes of box-fit 6 days a week...

it's been 5 months and box-fit doesn't generally leave me all that s ore anymore (unless we do something new),

but other classes still kill me every time (my legs just don't want to get with the program, lol), so at least every couple weeks I spend the week feeling black and blue with sore....

but, otoh, I've lost 20lb and put on a lot of muscle, can jog 10 minutes instead of 1, can do sit-ups (though I keep having to proove it to my mind that insists I can't)

so... likely worth it, but probably better if you don't go in telling yourself you have to get out without being sore for it to work (or to want to keep doing..).. you *will* get *less* sore, with time, but even the folks at the club who are in crazy shape still work themselves sore.. it's this funny sliding scale thing, if you aren't sore, you have to do more until you are..:(
