300 dollars more for the black?
wow, that's slightly ridiculous.
I think that macs are cool but unless you're using it for a specific purpose (ie: photography, digital art) it's kind of the same thing as a normal laptop. I guess it's cool looking and of course the operating system is probably better than windows but then again, Linux OS is also much better than either of them put together. I also think it would be difficult to use the mac and then use a pc (if you also use one). I know I'd get confused haha.
But they are the talk of the town and if they're so popular there must be something to them.

Oh your post reminded me of something and I have a question: is arrythmia dangerous?

Also, I'd like to read that book, I've heard about it a lot and I'm sure I read it at some point but I could be wrong.
Anyways
c'est tout, aurevoir!

Yeah, it's true. I think that perhaps a Windows Vista operated PC would work just fine, but I find their performance quality degrades quickly after they are a certain 'age'. I shall see how the Apple fares.

Uhm, well throughout the day arrythmia usually happens without any problems - it just means not a regular heartbeat. If it happens for reasons like a valve is leaky, improper electrical impulses or something, then there could be a problem. Why do you ask? I don't really know anything, my mom is the expert!

Oh my goooodnesss, the split screen thing sounds amazing. Can you work in any of the programs when it is split in 4 screens, or is it just for viewing ease?

Yeah, I got the iWork package preinstalled (or, rather, will, when it arrives). How long have you had it, and has it slowed at all, or anything?

I ADORE my macbook. I got my Mac about 2 years ago? Maybe? So I'm really used to it now. I use Windows at work so I pretty much have to go back and forth every day, which can be a little bit annoying because I use keyboard shortcuts so much. Really the main thing to get used to is that the X and the minimize buttons are on the left instead of the right.

Bottom line? I LOVE MY MAC. It runs so much better, quicker, and it's just prettier. :)

Haha, yeah, when I was in my phase of reeeeeallly wanting a Mac, I got this WindowsBlinds program which, among several options, can mimic the look of a Mac. It was neat, but it slowed my computer down. I noticed at that time that everything was on the left!

OOH, a question I can actually weigh in on. I have owned a Dell PC (desktop) for about 6 years now. But I recently got a Macbook from my company (weirdly, they gave me the black one - I have no idea why they would pay extra for that, but ok...). The upside is I get to take it home whenever I want, so I tend to use it for, well, everything nowadays. (Because it's faster than my PC, because my PC is old and the Macbook is new.) However, there are a few things I cannot do on it that are dealbreakers for me in terms of getting it for myself for sole personal use (though I dunno if they even affect you at all), but here they are:

1) If you have Netflix, you cannot watch Instant Viewing movies on it. Netflix Instant Viewing is not available for any Mac. Which to me, sucks. I have to go on my clunker of a PC now every time I want to watch something ( ... )
