Only two calls in response to my lost Scotchie fliers so far. One - from a company trying to get me to pay them, for services I did on my own! $300.00 to send out fliers and make phone calls for me -- and no way to prove to they've even performed the services

You're absolutely right about taking updated, recent photos of family, just so that spotting 'em could be easier.

I'm amazed at all the posters I see on phone poles around here. Keep in mind that things are very spread out in the mountains, so some of the posters are for animals lost many miles away. The best help we've had when we've found animals is the owner's name and address on a collar tag.
