Meme Friday

I was tagged by Fusan Susan angua9 to do this meme. So that's what I'm doing. I started it before I went to bed last night... Hey, this is more than 1 post for this month. Does this mean I get to take February off?

1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, and find line 4.
(Ameri-) can Jews meant that it gave people like

2.Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. Where are your fingers?
Touching the top shoe in my shoe barrel. A knee-high boot

3. what is the last thing you watched on TV?
Just watched this week's episodes of Scrubs! But Dr. Cox needs to give up the House-esque stubble. Pronto.

4. Without looking guess what time it is.
12:22

5. Now look at the clock. What is the actual time.
12:31

6. Besides the computer, what else can you hear?
Sounds of the New York evening - wind, traffic, my radiator

7. When did you last step outside? What were you doing?
I came back home from my NYMF meeting at about 8 pm.

8. Before you started this survey, what did you look at?
The clock, to see how late it was

9.What are you wearing?
Pink pajamas!

10.Did you dream last night?
I think so! I was heavily asleep, though, so I don't remember it.

11. When did you last laugh?
I certainly cackled at a few of Dr. Cox's jokes tonight.

NEXT MORNING....

12. What is on the walls of the room you are in?
Ooh, lots! Walls 1 and 2 have Theatre posters: Dancing at Lughnasa, A Skull in Connemara, Molly Sweeney, Lovers, Juno and the Paycock, Da. Wall 3: A Harry Potter 6 promo poster (with a tiny picture of me in Harry Potter getup pinned next to it), a Mizzou alumni calendar (tacked over last year's Cardinals calendar, which I haven't had the heart to throw out), next to a Broadway musicals calendar. (I couldn't decide which to keep.) Then we've got next year's Cardinals schedule on the fourth wall, right beneath a NYMF poster and a bunch of pictures of my nieces and nephews tacked up. There's also my list of ten baseball books to read during the offseason, and a couple of Cardinals hats.

13. Seen anything weird lately?
This is New York. Of course I have!

14. What do you think of this quiz?
I'm with Angua. Nothing to write home about.

15. What is the last film you saw?
Narnia. Just after Christmas.

16. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy?
I'd hire a cleaning lady! And get myself a well-stocked liquor cabinet so I could make fancy martinis and so forth.

17. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
I'd save the environment.

18. Do you like to dance?
On occasion, especially when I've been drinking. I'm not good at it, though ("I got NO rhythm!")

19. George W. Bush
I haaaaaaaate the man.

20. Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?
Margot is one of the ones I like, or maybe Miriam. My favorite of our family names are Alice and Jean.

21. Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?
If my husband was amenable, I'd like to name him after my Dad, whose name is Conal. I know, the chances are astronomical.

22. Would you ever consider living abroad?
Been there, done that! (Oh god. Did I just say "been there, done that"? What is this, 1993?)

23. What do you want God to say to you when you reach the pearly gates?
'Bout time!

I'd tag people, I really would, but I'm not sure anyone on my f-list really wants to complete the survey. If you are interested in doing it, please consider yourself tagged!
