Why do I always like things with the word "House" in the title?

I must say I'm disappointed that none of the brilliant people on my friendslist ever told me about Bleak House. People! How am I supposed to keep up on excellent TV and movies (or in this case, TV movies) if there's no word-of-mouth? In any case, for those of you that don't know about Bleak House, let me tell you that it is one wonderful adaptation

I read great things about Bleak House, but didn't get around to seeing it when it aired. I didn't know it was on DVD; maybe I'll look into it. :)

Like you, my limited Dickens experience left a sour taste (although I DO like the film of Nicholas Nickleby, so I figured there was SOME hope). And, well, even though I don't like Great Expectations, I like A Christmas Carol okay...
