So I told a couple of my friends, Jeremiah and Meredith, that I was going to Houston to see the Cards play the Astros the weekend of Sept 22-24. (And hopefully, angua9! YAYAYAY!) They're huge Red Sox fans, but both said they'd never go to Texas, even to see their beloved baseball team. Because it's Texas, the home of George Bush, etc

At the Pampered Chef party I went to on Saturday, Joan was talking about how a knife was forged. Tanya chimed in with "Was it forged in the fires of Gondor?" and everyone laughed, and I gave a loud exasperated sigh and said "GEEZ Tanya, you're SUCH a dork. And it was in the fires of MORDOR." :) heehee... well I thought it was funny.

Hope you get to see another Astros stomping like the one I saw last night! Whoo hoo!!! :) Have fun in Houston!!!
