And the only sinophiles I've ever had to deal with were online friends of friends. And a fossil?!? I don't think I could take it.
If politely turning him down has to keep going, I guess you move on to not so politely turning him down. And if you have to keep that up, imply he's in your space and you don't like it, and if he doesn't get his ass out of your space, you take it to the higher ups.

That or tell him you're into high school girls.

gads, that is so true. partially because everybody (aside from my parents) appreciate that i'm so... off-kilter. huzzah.

this is the fourth time i've said no to bob about hanging out after work hours. i don't know why he doesn't read further into my grimaces when i say, "i don't think so, bob."

maybe i need to take a step beyond immaturity and say, "eewww... GROSS!!!" this would be consistent with my normal behavior. i have the brain of a small child residing in the body of a woman

if i told him i was into high school girls, i think i'd go even further up bob's scale of hawtness... and that's gross, because he really DOES look like a pedo...

Well, currently, I can only stay for so long. It's just that living in my family household makes it impossible to study well, and my parents are actually setting up my life for me too much =__=.

As for your offer, I thank you strongly, but I still don't have a means of paying for it. I've been trying to get a job in the last few years, and though I suspect that I'm not looking in the right places, nothing has turned up yet.

oh man... i went away for college, but i can imagine the kind of incessant pains you're going through.

there's no housing offered at your school? or maybe you have a less invasive set of relatives who would be willing to let you stay for a while?

library jobs pay fairly well (i believe i read somewhere that they started you at $14/hour, though i have not yet confirmed this), though it would probably benefit you to find a job where you could squeeze in some study time.

i was actually at mitsuwa marketplace today, picking up some lunch when i saw a help wanted sign, though i don't think you'd want to work at a grocery store...
