seriously, i don't know what i'd be doing if i never knew about the internet or television...

somehow the image of me churning butter came to mind... *flails*

and apparently, "prince of tennis" is on cartoon network. as much as i hate dubs, i'm tempted to check it out (just to see what you get so worked up over)~!!

ahahahaha~!!

if i can make whipped cream, then i think i can churn butter. of course, according to an "i love lucy" episode, it took ethyl $72 to make one small lump... but ah, well...

i know. dubs ARE evil... maybe i'll try to catch an ep or two on youtube... now that i have dsl at home, things'll likely get better~!!

I was wondering where you were! Julie-senpai, I missed you so~ ♥

Is Jacq going to be okay, though? I'm really worried now.

julie-senpai? **feels aged, like cheese** I MISSED YOU, TOO!!! TT^TT

jacq... i think she's just dealing with a lot right now. i know her grandmother passed away recently, and they were very close- that, and the reassignment of her work infrastructure- someone in her department left, and she (along with some others) had to pick up that person's work load, so her nerves have been a bit frazzled. she wanted to say something about everything that was going on with her, but i guess nothing was coming out the way she wanted it to sound, so she temporarily deleted her account.

we'll have our jacq back soon.

how're you doing, miss fabulous? i've still been meaning to send you something for your birthday, but you might get it around valentine's day, instead. XD

ARGH. Did I say something wrong again?! I hate Japanese sometimes, I really do...

I think I remember reading that her grandmother passed away... wasn't it on my birthday? Well, I can't say I was on that much... I feel really bad, but I'm relieved to hear that she'll be okay. I've been thinking about her a lot these days.

Miss Fabbie's doing fine, but can you believe that none of my RL friends remembered my birthday? *droops* And really, Jules, you don't have to send me anything!

lol, you didn't say anything wrong. senpai is just like teacher, really... and if that's what you meant, then it's cool, i guess (though there's not a whole lot you can learn from me that would be beneficial in any which way, shape or form)~!!

gads. really, it makes me sad when the whole lot of you are feeling down in the dumps. makes me wish there was more i could do...

WHAAA?!! **eyes aglow** they DIDN'T?!! dude. that deserves a punt in the babymaker. this person who i assumed was my best friend in college forgot to wish me a happy birthday, too. it hurt a lot more than i realized... and then when i called to wish her a happy birthday, i ended up calling her 4 days earlier. i never called her on her real birthday. i guess i suck, too~

and i will send you something, just because i want to. XDDDDD

It really is amazing how quickly the internet becomes your media lifeline.. even for someone who's TV agnostic like me. My parents live in the Gulf Islands, so there's spotty ISP service out there, what with windstorms knocking down powerlines and things. I never realized how much I need my internet radio until I was caught out there without it! ><

So, my condolences.

I feel bad for you, I really do, but I've got one better: MY internet at the dorm was out for no less than six days. It went out last Wed afternoon and didn't come back on until yesterday afternoon. Don't know how or why it happened, it just DID. Man, was I pissy about it, too.

Oh, and it totally figures that it would fix itself the day I finally get a chance to call the on-campus support staff. Age of technology my ass...*mutter mutter grumble*

Btw, have you played with the paper dolls any? I'm SO curious...

i just don't get how a dorm internet can be down for THAT long.. you'd think some geeky IT major would know how to fix things... asldkjlaksjdaksdasdANGRY.

i haven't played with the dolls yet~!! **they're still in mint condition** i have put them in plastic sleeves, though. i'm afraid that they'll tear~!!

how's miroku doing? XD

To be fair to the campus IT services, I didn't call the first time until they were closed for the day. The next day, we had snow so the campus was closed. I'm pretty sure that they don't work on Friday's, so I didn't bother calling then. And, of course, they wouldn't be around on weekends either, so I had to wait until Monday before I could get them on the phone. It just totally figures that it would all start working again RIGHT after I'd called the service line *facepalm*

I could send you the file copies of the dolls so that you could print them off and play with the disposable versions. That way, you could keep the dolls I sent you in "mint condition," if you want.

And I'm pretty sure they won't tear easily; I backed the dolls themselves with tougher paper to prevent such a thing. And the clothes are made out of my drawing paper, which is pretty durable all by itself.

Miroku's doing fine ^^ He's sitting on my alarm clock with a little stuffed puppy I found at Ren Fest.

LOL, okay, so you don't know me but I was looking at the shop707 lj and I am having like the worst day ever (I got into a car accident at work - long story) so I came home and am trying to take my mind off of everything by watching my favorite movie, The Wedding Singer...

And I saw your username.

And I cracked up.

Thanks for the lulz. It cheered me up.
