I AGREE WITH THIS POST SO MUCH. Though I didn't feel like I'd lost an hour of sleep; on the contrary, I felt like I'd slept for aaaaaages. :D The only thing I felt bitchy about was the fact that it was pitch dark when I left the house this morning. Gross. :(

um, one, i don't like anonymous posts. i'll remember to block those from my journal.
two, i hope you're not correcting my spelling, because daylight saving time (DST) doesn't come with a hyphen between day and light. you've happened to catch me during my period, and i'm feeling VERY catty.
I'm so glad I was on a plane before the clocks switched. I was dis-flipping-oriented anyway.
The whole idea is silly. I say we move the planet a little further out, give it a very large ice cube to weight it down, then the earth spins slower, meaning more hours to a day and be done with it. Humans can apparently work with 36 hour days quite comfortably. More sleep, more fanfiction... shutting up now.
i heard on discovery that if we were just a wee bit further from the sun, there would be no chance of survival (save for cockroaches... **shudders**). it's just one of those things i picked up while waiting for "mythbusters" to air. i have a bit of a nerd crush on grant... lol~!!
but i would love more hours to do what i like to do. of course, i'd have to win the lotto and set up housing in japan, korea, england, new york, boston, vancouver, hawaii, hong kong, chicago... and oy, i can't even begin to FATHOM what a 36-hour anime marathon would do to my inner-fangirl...
Dude. More time to write, more time to read, more time to curl up in a corner and GAG, but hey, more time to go find a friend and whine about stupid people together.
I went through that thing where I only could be bothered to change some of my clocks so I kept adding an hour on the wrong clocks and then not knowing what time it was. >:( just in general.
lol- dst is just bad news, period. i hate going to bed when my body tells me it's too damn early. so in reality, i'm losing 2 hours of sleep, rather than one. blarrgghh...
