So, there are people out there archiving all manner of information, songs and languages and that sort of thing, stuff at risk of getting lost to cultural homogenization. Is anyone out there archiving legal systems? Like, how various different groups go about problem-solving? I mean, I think of it vaguely as maybe something anthropologists would

In my first zine, called The First Amendment, shortly after Iraq invaded Kuwait, one of my contributors (a philosophy prof) had an article about the possibility of Kuwait becoming a virtual nation, distributed worldwide and cohesive via the net. I'll see if I can dig that up for you if you'd be interested.
