Wow

M and I saw a defnitely-not-normal shooting star Saturday night, around 7:30, in the west. It came in from the southeast, it was so bright it took me a minute to realize it was not a plane. It was there long enough for me to say somethimg like wow, look at that, and for M to look and see it too. It was not white, either, more like a pale greeny-

It was a meteor. It made the news.

I was hoping it would, it definitely seemed big enough to be noticed by air traffic control or someone, but I don't keep very close track of the news... where was it in the news?

Ah well. It is nice to know it made the news. Which is probably silly of me, but I'm silly sometimes. :)
