I asolutely love what the oracle says in the new matrix movie. About the last thing I expected out of that movie was something lingeringly interesting to think about, but there it is, dancing in the froth kicked up by last weekend's initiations, with that surreally oblique but enlighteningly true oracle thing going on.

I hear (from the psychologial reasearch that seeps out far enough into the mediasphere for me to run across it) that we tend to operate that way, actually, decide first and reason why later.. and it certainly seemed quite entirely appropriate to contemplation of a recent initiation. And I think understanding our whys is an important part of being true toward ourselves, which seems to me the most essential prerequisite to having any hope at all of getting what one really wants...
