Interesting life thingy

For anyone who's interested in the origins of life etc., I thought this was rather cool. They've discovered bacteria that live completely independently of the sun ( Read more... )

You've Heard of chemosynthetic bacteria yeah? They've been around for ages. Although not so sure if "they" think they're on other planets. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chemosynthesis

Thanks for the link. I'm wondering now how long it'll take some business to "adapt" this new found knowledge for the betterment of "humankind" (and make money off it). But that's me, jaded. Hope all well.
