life gets in the way

 Have been doing a lot of RL stuff this week that will, I hope, have a long-term payoff in giving me a more secure financial situation and in putting my kid on a better footing with college tuition. In the long term, that should give me more time to write.

In the short term, it's eaten into writing time.

Today?

I've got nearly 700 words so far today! And I'm moving the plot along! I may make the deadline!

Hooray! I've been working on my Uncommon Valor submission. Hitting the key events first, and then filling in the rest. :D

I'm still on An Improper Arrangement. I may not have enough time to do my Uncommon Valor concept justice, esp. given that I haven't started it yet. But I'm pretty sure I can finish THIS one, and if I have to bail on Uncommon Valor, I know what my next novel project is!
