You know, I am so lucky that you and I find much of the same stuff cool.

It has been a big week for your household, and it sounds like a good one.

I have few years left before my least one graduates. Big one needs to get his drivers licence-- that is the next thing.

Can I just say again-- you are awesome!

Strangely enough, I find sex scenes hard to write. I don't think it is the shyness factor-- It is the whole stage blocking thing. I have to remember where everyone's bits are, and why. And then, I think more importantly, how they feel and what they want next.

it's honestly easier than anything to write the scenes when it's two women

it's VERY easy to keep track of their bits!

I have not tried two women yet. Maybe I will write some soon.

I've never heard the Cool Stuff Theory, but it's a perfect way to describe why a guy I recommended Tolkien to thought it was "laaaaaame" while still being an enormous Star Wars geek. All a matter of perspective, I guess... Although the fact that Steven doesn't think that full-plate armor and great big honking greatswords are cool made me sporfle, given, y'know, Aliera and Kieron's Greatsword, which I remember being described as flipping enormous ( ... )

I like the Cool Stuff Theory and I think that's why the WWII story worked for me in a way the Regency ladies didn't (Later, though! I want to write it!). It's an area of history I find interesting and it includes FLYING (a love that I got from my dad) and just other cool stuff. I don't know much about the Regency period and I'm a little nervous about writing it when so many people I admire have managed it flawlessly. I'll just have to read more Regency-period novels and get a better feel for it and see if the characters will speak to me.

Congrats on finishing your story and I look forward to reading it (hopefully in the anthology).
