I've been out of touch with the internet all week. Imagine my surprise when, while catching up on webcomics, I learned via Order of the Stick that Dave Arneson died.

Dave Arneson, along with Gary Gygax, pretty much invented Dungeons and Dragons. He will be missed.

Not related to this post, but have you heard that there's an official Region 1 release of Mysterious Cities of Gold?

Yes. There's even a deluxe edition. Been debating about getting it, though.
