1. I don't know that I necessarily believe this theory I'm about to expound. It's just an idea I had.
2. I doubt this is a new theory. But please humor me and don't tell me how many other places you've seen it, and how much better they did it.

MAJOR HBP SPOILER WARNING for the 2 or 3 of you who are as behind as I am and haven't read it yet. )

Yes!!!!
That's where I ended up as well.
I padded the theory by pointing out that if Snape really were a truly, disgustingly *evil*, he would have killed Harry when he had the *numerous* chances after Dumbledore died.

This is not to say that Snape isn't a vile little bastard; it's just to say that he's slightly *less* of a vile little bastard.

*nods* I came up with this conclusion as well - which makes me look forward even MORE to the seventh book, and how the Harry/Snape interaction is going to pan out. I'm also curious to see a life without Hogwarts! In the back of my mind, I'd always just assumed that the final inevitable battle was going to take place there.

I discovered this site called Dumbledore Is Not Dead. Seen it? This totally cracks me up. On the very first page of the site you get this huge HBP spoiler warning - don't read this if you don't want to know what happens, blah blah. Only, dude. The url is http://www.dumbledoreisnotdead.com! WTF? You have a whole page of spoiler warnings, but the very address of your site gives it all away! I laughed really hard at that one.

lol! That is pretty funny *g* Maybe people might think it's a metaphor? You know, like rock is dead? It's not actually dead. *shrugs*
