The PNE Agrifair, Scott Pilgrim, and a Plethora of Media

So I just got home from my week-long jaunt as 4H Boys' Dorm Chaperone in the Agridome at the PNE. It was a relatively positive experience, if you ignore the fact that the day I arrived my wisdom teeth started to kill me, and have only gotten worse over the week. My job description was thus: I had to sit at a desk for 24 hours a day, switching off

I wish! Quite the opposite in fact... The Pacific National Exhibition, which is sort of like a Canadian state fair. I was in the Agrodome, which according to Wikipedia was where Rocky IV was filmed. Awesome. Although there was very little boxing or hockey taking place while I was there. Since I was helping to host 4H, it was actually a livestock competition. The first night there a steer escaped and was wandering around making ungodly noises all night. God help me if I ever go near a farm.

No boxing or hockey? That's a bummer. I can tell I'm still asleep while writing this because I just thought "What if you had boxing on skates? That's be awesome." Then I realized that they already do. It's called hockey, DUH!

These overnight shifts are addling my brains.

So do Canadian state fairs feature excessive amounts of food on sticks? At the Minnesota state fair I think I counted fourteen different things they sold on sticks.

On a completely unrelated note, do you have any recommendations for video editing/creating software? I just need something that'll turn a bunch of pictures into a slide show w/ some music and then let me export it as an avi or mpg.
