Christopher has discoved how to cry with tears and Anthony doesn't like it. He is now 5 weeks and 5 days old and weighs over 14 lbs. He's 24 inches long. Ok, Christopher's 4 weeks old tomorrow and so far so good. He does love to be held, but only by mommy (YAY! A MOMMY'S BOY!). I'm also excited because tomorrow I get to lift Anthony again. And I went through 19 hours of active (natural!) labor with Anthony. Every day the pain gets more intense, but they keep telling me "just be patient and wait a little longer". The next person to tell me that is going to be kicked in the balls (weather they have them or not). My back is killing me, my hips feel like they're barbie-doll-like joints ( Read more... )

Ok, stats as of today... Christopher's head is still high (not wanting to come out at all), he's now 8lbs 6oz, and has his darn legs spread out in my lungs. He didn't like fetal position I'm guessing. He also has his umbilical cord in a big bunch up by his head, so he's just making my life miserable, just like I knew he would. Ok, still pregnant and all I accomplished by trying to walk him out was making my body even more sore than it already was. Ouch! If he doesn't come out soon, I'm going to cry and beg at the hospitals front door for someone to please take him out NOW!!! I feel like I've been hit by a car.

Okay. I'm in the early stages of labor (for the second time) and dialated to 3 cms. Hopefully we'll stay in labor this time and have a baby tonight, but we'll see. This kid's been a pain in the butt so far, so I'm not taking it for granted. Out Christopher, OUT!
