I recently watched the first season of Dexter on DVD. For those not familiar with the show, the main character is a blood spatter forensic expert with the Miami police, who is also a serial killer. I feel your pain. I LOVE Dexter. I'm reading the books now too. He's just a wonderful character. I wish I'd thought of him first.

But I know the feeling of being a bit off for enjoying him so much. My favorite character to fanfic is Caleb from Buffy. He kills people all the time.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. A forensic expert who's a serial killer? Why didn't I think of that?

I haven't read the books yet, but I'd like to. I'm a Buffy fanatic and I really enjoyed Caleb, too. There was just something about his zest for evil that was just ... fun.

He did work in mysterious ways. If you're ever in the mood, my Caleb LJ is firsts_chosen_1. It's not work safe - a bit too gory.
