Hello. I found your journal in operasingers, and I noticed that you were born in Moscow. My boyfriend was born there too!!! He goes there frequently as well as a consultant for the world bank and American Councils. My grandfather was born in Ukraine, but when he left to come here, it was part of Russia. Unfortunately I don't speak Russian, but I really want to learn! Anyway, you seem very interesting, so I've added you. ;)

Hey! That sounds awesome- it's great that your boyfriend's job gives him the chance to live in both worlds, so to speak...although it's probably hard on you and your relationship to have him traveling so frequently.

It's not so bad. It actually kind of serves to constantly renew our relationship. I never get tired of him when he's around, because I know that he'll be on a trip again undoubtably, and I'll miss him terribly. It is very awesome that he gets to go to all these places: Siberia, Moscow, Georgia, Kazakstan, Kyrgystan, Georgia...just to name a few. Hopefully now that I've graduated he'll take me with him next time, unless he goes to Georgia again, because things aren't looking so safe there right now...

Sorry for the delayed response on this- I had thought that I already responded to it but it appears that I never did.

That's really wonderful that it's working out so well for you two. Yeah, many of the places you listed have been pretty volatile lately...I hope he stays safe =)
