Talking of course! haha, I'd probably be asking you to give me a crash course in Russian, so I could understand what Mark is saying when he's on the phone with his colleagues. He says its not worth it for me to learn it because it isn't really that widely used, but HE uses it all the time, so I want to know how to speak it too!!!
And I'd also probably be picking your brain about your various travels and studies. You're a really interesting person!
Yes, we do have an endless number of conversation topics to cover. And I could definitely teach you Russian. I know what you mean. The guy I'm seeing now speaks Hebrew and I feel so left out when he uses it. If we were as serious as you are with Mark, I would definitely plan to learn it. I don't like not knowing what he says, lol. But then again, if all goes according to plan, I will know (in addition to English) Russian, Spanish, Italian, French, and some German, none of which HE knows. So it wouldn't be fair. But if it annoyed him enough that he didn't know what I was saying in all those languages, he could just learn them all too! Just kidding. But you get the idea. We should definitely meet when I move to the east coast. I'm sure I'll go into NYC every once in a while...
Totally! We should agree on something and learn our parts and then maybe sometime soon we could sing whatever it is together. I have a recital in the works for May...if you think of something, let me know!
Gosh, I'm so glad you rescued your mind from the gutter....hehhehe....
I didn't see where spiffitiff actually got around to replying to you, but yes, she's at NEC, in her first year of grad work. I'm actually planning a visit to see her around the 19 or so of Feb, if nothing else goes awry....
She did end up replying, but thank you. I'm actually going to be in Boston from Feb 19th through March 2nd (I'm going to make a post about it in my LJ soon) so we could definitely meet up!
It's so funny with LJ- you friend people because you like them or have something in common with them, but then time passes and you completely forget things like where they go to school, who they study with, etc. So could you, too, remind me what your NEC connection is?
