that's really awesome. where are you? and this is probably a stupid question but how did you do those effects, which program? now that i have my new imac i want to dabble a bit in picture making. you're great inspiration!
this is some little beach around Laguna. i'm not exactly sure of the name.
and it not a stupid question. what you see before you is no digital trickery. i took this with my Holga camera with slide film. The three images actually overlapped that way on the film. i just scanned it.
holga. and they are 3 different exposures. look at the first one, my shoes up on the rocks, and the last one i managed to catch a wave breaking in the distance after i put my shoes back on. The middle image is the view from underneath the arch looking the opposite way...
thanks. see above comment... not exactly sure what the name of the beach is but it is around the Laguna Beach area. Very close to some snazzy resort called "Montage" the water is so beautiful there. deep blue green like you imagine an ocean should be...
Very similar to many of the beaches to the north west of where I live (Auckland) They are very rough coast lines where massive pillars of stone are slowly being carved away by the sea and birds attempt to nest at the top....

i have to marvel at the way the sea water doggedly carves away at stone when i see arches like this one and the shape of the coast....
