Umbrella Stroller Question!
I hate my single stroller - I always have. My in-laws bought it for us when Jake was born. Since it was a gift, I felt guilty asking for what I really wanted, even though they wouldn't have blinked an eye. Today is April 20th. Thirty years ago today, my brother was born. Seven months and 20 days ago, my brother died.
Steve should be alive to turn 30 today. I'm still trying so hard not to let anger get the best of me, just push it out and accept the sadness. To even try to be happy today when I think of him.
But all I feel is numb. -

Last night when I took the babysitter home at 9:30 it was FIVE degrees out. I decided that yep, it would actually fall below zero like they've been warning us. I just woke up from sleeping in. Jake just slathered a 3" thick helmet of Vaseline all over his arms, face, hands and HAIR. He looks like a 2 year old just birthed. It's awful. I can't get it out and am about to shave his head.
