[01] Do you have the guts to answer these questions and re-post as The Controversial Survey?
Why is this even a question? If I didn't want to post it, I wouldn't...and therefore I wouldn't be answering this. (

[02] Would you do meth if it was legalized?
Hell no. Meth is bad news. (

[03] Abortion: for or against it?
I support women's right to choose, but I don't support Roe v. Wade, on judicial grounds.
[04] Do you think the world would fail with a female president?
Europe, Pakistan and Turkey have had women presidents/prime ministers, even Syria and Iran had woman VPs. Even the "barbarian" east seems to be over this issue.
[05] Do you believe in the death penalty?
No.
[06] Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
Yes I do. For one thing, it's not any worse than cigarettes or alcohol. For another, as much as I hate the nicotine industry, I'd much rather Phillip Morris handle this one, rather than Pablo Escobar, so we could at least get some tax money out of it.
[07] Are you for or against premarital sex?
I am a staunch advocate of people getting as much sex as possible, whether married or unmarried. Legalize prostitution while you're at it too.
[08] Do you believe in God?
Undecided.
[09] Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
Yeah, whatever. To be frank, I don't really care that much.
[10] Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
Without a policy that would allow them to contribute to society and earn their citizenship in due time, I will have to say we should be careful about this one. I'm not "against" it like the GOP base is against it. But if we can't figure out a way to help them educate themselves and be productive in the ways that 21st century requires them to be, completely opening the borders is a stupid idea.
[11] A 12-year-old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
Nope. This is my personal opinion, not a political one.
[12] Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
Yeah. I think we shouldn't have such a hard on about booze. He who wants to consume it shall do so whether it's legal or not.
[13] Should the war in Iraq be called off?
Yes. And I don't buy this "We should pull out responsibly" crap. I know a few things about military retreats and that's fine. But in the end, violence is down, Saddam is out, Iraqi government is saying they can handle things from now on. We should take the wins and leave.
[14] Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree that it should be?
That's a tough one. What if one wants to die but is incapacitated to pull the plug himself? Put me under undecided.
[15] Do you believe in spanking your children?
I'm not sure if I would spank my children if I had any, but some people should spank their children because some children are bugging the hell out of me.
[16] Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
You might think I'm blowing smoke, but never. Not for a hundred million dollars. As an army brat, I know what it means to my father and his friends and and his soldiers and I could never betray them like that.
[17] Who do you think would make a better president? McCain or Obama?
I think McCain would make a worse president, but essentially, I don't see much difference between them where MY political beliefs are concerned.
[18] Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
Unlike most people, I don't mind when others judge me. You can tell me what you think and you'll get an answer. And that's all there is to it.
By the way, I had lunch with Wayne today and I was right: He's half Jamaican. His mother is an American with a mixed background. He was born and raised in NY, which explains why he doesn't have much of an accent. His father resides in Kingston and Wayne and him are cool and he visits his dad quite frequently.
I was thinking of kissing him but decided against it because we had dined in a questionable Indian restaurant. So I decided to save it for Friday.
He is mighty funny though, and a very engaging and entertaining conversationalist. A definite plus. And he has none of that obnoxious cool air about him, like so many suits in this borough do. He's pretty laid back.
So far the only negative I noticed is he's a hardcore gamer. He said some shit about Grand Theft Auto and Half Life or Half Lie, I'm not sure. Didn't really care. As long as he doesn't ditch me for his Play Station, we'll probably be fine.
Anyway, I'll write more when I know more. Presumably on Saturday when I'm at work. Or Sunday. Or Monday, at the latest.
