Doctor Who finale & Happy New Year!
Just got back from small holidays and the first thing I did, was to watch the 2nd part of "The End of Time"!
I'm already missing Ten and all this brilliant team that made all those years so great! Thank you RTD and thank you so much David Tennant!
About the episode :
- First of all, I love the fact that it's much more positive than Torchwood: CoE! I'm glad I'm not as sick as I was after watching these! I feared it so much that I hesitated before I watched this Doctor finale! So thank you RTD for that! Thank you for keeping a bit of optimism!
- It was great and epic! The Timelords, especially the President, are bit of bastards! They are the cause of the drums in the Master's mind! And they did this to a kid! I felt sorry for him...
- Who was that old lady in white that Ten seemed to recognize? I don't get it. Anyone have a suggestion? I thought of his mum or someone else, I don't know...
- It was so intense when The Doctor pointed the gun at the Master and the President not knowing which one to shoot...

- I was so happy and relieved when he did not die at the end of this confrontation and was so desperate when he realised that saving Wilf would cause his death (and it was so unexpected that it was such a simple death)! It broke my heart when he was shouting and screaming he did not want to die! David Tennant was so good here, so so good!
- The last scenes of the episode almost made me cry, it was so emotional, and the music! The moment where Wilf watched him from away during the wedding and cried...oh gosh!
- I loved the fact that we got to see everything that made the RTD years during those final scenes... Donna, Martha, Mickey, Jack, Alonso, different aliens and the music in the bar, Rose & Jackie!
Still, the Martha/Mickey wedding?! Even if I had heard rumors, I never thought it would be true, I find it really akward and made out of nowhere...! And Jack isn't mourning enough for me after CoE! Already on to someone else! Even if it's Alonso and he's cute and everything, I'm not fond of the fact that he's forgetting so quickly about all his losses!
I loved the part about Rose & Jackie! It was good to see them again and that it was before they met the Doctor! The Rose/Doctor interaction was so cute, to see her smile like that, and to see the tears in the Doctor's eyes... so bittersweet like their entire relationship... gosh!
- The last words of Ten : "I don't wanna go" just broke my heart and won't help me to accept Eleven easily...
Still I will be there to see what Moffat and the new new team got in stores for us and I'm glad we have time to prepare ourselves!
