Missing people at three in the morning
It's three in the morning and I can't seem to get any sleep. Vivacious Vancouver
Here we are, finally in Vancouver! It was the first time we'd visited Sherri at her condo and so far, the trip has been very fun. (Well, the sitting in the car for 13 hours part wasn't that fun, but the sights were so lovely.) One of the best parts of her place is its closeness to the beach- it's only about a block away!

First time working with fondant
Connie and I decided to make some marshmallow fondant last night. Kneading that thing was some serious physical work, but we're both pretty happy with the end result! The flowers were handmade and painted with food colouring and the cake itself was (two-tiered) chocolate.

Blueberries and Bananas
Today, I went on a blueberry and banana baking frenzy which resulted in cookies, bread and mini muffins! The muffins were each topped off with a fresh slice of banana, peanut butter and a blueberry (but unfortunuately, I don't have a picture of the cute little buggers... camera ran out of batteries!).
